Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party are set to hold a strategic meeting on Monday, 17th January, 2022. The meeting scheduled to hold in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital is to discuss crucial issues ahead of the 2023 general election including plans to reclaim power at the central level of government.

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdullahi Adamu has met with Governor Hope Uzodinma and former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu behind closed-doors. Naija News reports that the meeting between the trio was held at the National Secretariat of the governing APC on Monday.
It was gathered that the meeting between the political bigwigs lasted for three hours.
